Bills Cellar Wines of April 2023
Ravish Mélange 2014
Bill's Cellar Members will also be receiving Library bottles of Ravish, a right bank Bordeaux-Style blend inspired by the Pomerol wines of Château Pétrus.
The decadent, full mouth feel is a treat of concentrated flavors like cherry, cranberry and spicy raspberry while still keeping its alcohol, tannins and acidity nicely in check, finishing with hints of soft caramel coffee or chocolate and distinguished by its amazing balance and length on the palate.
Interlude Mélange 2014
Bill's Cellar Members will also be receiving Library bottles of Interlude, a left bank Bordeaux-style wine inspired by the Pauillac wines of Château Latour.
The blend of Interlude varies according to the character of each vintage, however, Cabernet Sauvignon always predominates to give Interlude its rich tannin, its wealth of aroma and flavor, while Merlot, an inseparable companion with slightly more content here, brings suppleness, roundness and exceptional length.
