GrapeGears and its data is secured via encryption and does not use or download any applications to any computer, yours or ours, regardless of location, internet service provider or computer device being used.

We do not require personal details such as Social Security Number, credit application, credit score, employment or any banking information. If anyone represents they are connected with us and requests any such information, please report it to us immediately.
When you pay us via credit card in the shopping cart of this site, the information is immediately encrypted by and transmitted to the credit card processing company authorized by your credit card provider.
When you pay us via credit card in person at the Tasting Room we "swipe" your card electronically encrypting in exactly the same manner. To safeguard your identity we also physically check the security code of your card.
Only the following credit card information is visible to us in our systems:
- credit card holder name
- credit card number - last four digits only.
- credit card expiration date
- credit card billing zip code
If you happen to write your credit card details on an order form that information is entered into our GrapeGears system by full-time employees working in a secured office owned by Williamson Wines.
Once entered into our GrapeGears system the written form information is redacted to make it illegible. The forms are filed in a secure cabinet and, after approximately one year, all the forms are shredded.
Under no circumstances will we sell or share your mobile phone number or other personal information with third-parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
We will not purchase or use your name and mobile telephone number collected from third parties.
This Privacy Policy applies to our collection of personal information from you or about you when you provide personal information to us including any online forms associated with our text messaging program, when you subscribe to or interact with our text messaging program or click on hyperlinks in text messages provided through our text messaging program.
You have the following choices to opt-out of receiving text messages or calls at any time, either:
- Text “STOP” in response to any text message you receive from us.
- Contact us specifying you want to opt-out of text messages.
- For phone calls, requesting opt-out during any call you receive from us or by contacting us and specifying you want to opt-out of calls.
- For Marketing Communications - customers may opt-out of receiving marketing emails and newsletters at any time by by contacting us and specifying you want to opt-out of email marketing or by using the "unsubscribe" link located at the bottom of our emails.
We only share this information with our website chat provider to facilitate the use of the webchat technical functionality to provide you with that customer service venue.
We protect access to our network servers by maintaining physical, electronic and procedural safeguards and we use computer safeguards such as firewalls, data encryption and token passing technology employed by major banks worldwide.
Our third-party primary server farm is located in a secure, hardened data center and our mirrored (redundant) server farm is located in a similar secure data center thousands of miles apart. The servers are secure and all transmissions, both primary and backup are encrypted.
Your data is locked behind firewalls, network-based intrusion detection and prevention systems such as Secure Socket Layer (SSL) encrypted security and network analysis devices, all to ensure your account information is only accessible by you.
We enforce electronic and physical access controls to our buildings and files and we authorize discrete access to information only for those employees who require it to fulfill their job responsibilities.
