WHITE WINE COLLECTION
WILLIAMSON WINE & FOOD
Williamson White Wines
California vineyards. Classic traditions.
White wines made for freshness, flavor and the table.
ONE VINEYARD · THREE INTERPRETATIONS
The Chardonnay Collection
Chardonnay is remarkably obliging. Give it cool nights, good soil and thoughtful winemaking, and it can take on several very different personalities.
Amourette, Chantilly and Captivate come from individual Chardonnay blocks at our Home Ranch Estate in Dry Creek Valley. Each is made in a distinct style.
Amourette takes its inspiration from Montrachet, with depth, texture and measured richness. Chantilly follows the leaner path of Chablis, emphasizing freshness and mineral precision. Captivate is our generous New World expression, bringing ripe fruit, rounded texture and judicious oak.
The vineyard is Californian. The differences come from the choices made after the grapes arrive at the winery.
THE CHARDONNAY COLLECTION AT A GLANCE
Three wines from three estate vineyard blocks demonstrate how one grape can move from mineral and restrained to deep, rounded and generous.
- Amourette · Montrachet inspired
- Chantilly · Chablis inspired
- Captivate · New World inspired
- Three estate Chardonnay vineyard blocks
- Three distinct winemaking approaches
- Home Ranch Estate · Dry Creek Valley
Amourette — Montrachet-Inspired Chardonnay
Amourette
Montrachet-Inspired Chardonnay
100% Amourette Chardonnay Vineyard Block
Home Ranch Estate · Dry Creek Valley
Amourette is the deepest and most textural of our three Chardonnays. Ripe orchard fruit and measured oak are held in balance by freshness, precision and a quiet mineral line.
Pour it with lobster, roast chicken, seared scallops, creamy sauces or a properly ripe cheese. It has enough substance for the main course and enough restraint to leave room for the food.
Chantilly — Chablis-Inspired Chardonnay
Chantilly
Chablis-Inspired Chardonnay
100% Chantilly Chardonnay Vineyard Block
Home Ranch Estate · Dry Creek Valley
Chantilly takes the leaner road. Bright acidity, restrained fruit and a clean mineral finish give the wine energy, precision and a refreshing sense of purpose.
Serve it with oysters, crab, grilled fish, chèvre or the first course of a long lunch. This is Chardonnay with its sleeves rolled up and its appetite intact.
Captivate — New World Chardonnay
Captivate
New World Chardonnay
Chardonnay Vineyard Block III
Home Ranch Estate · Dry Creek Valley
Captivate is the most generous of the three, with ripe orchard fruit, rounded texture and carefully judged oak. Full and approachable, it finishes smoothly without becoming heavy.
Bring it to roast chicken, grilled salmon, buttered shellfish, pork or a table of rich cheeses. It is a wine that arrives ready to please and sees no virtue in making everyone wait.
FRESH · FRAGRANT · MADE FOR FOOD
Aromatic & Rhône-Style Whites
Chardonnay may command the room, but it is hardly the only white wine worth inviting to dinner.
Joy, Gertie, Frisky, Frolic and Caress explore five varieties and traditions, from the mineral freshness of the Loire and the perfume of Alsace to the generous textures of the Rhône.
These are California wines with international reference points—not copies, but interpretations shaped by our vineyards, climate and table.
Each has a different talent. Some refresh. Some perfume the room. Others settle comfortably beside crab, spice, roast poultry or a serious cheese board.
THE AROMATIC WHITE COLLECTION AT A GLANCE
Five expressive California whites, each shaped by a classic wine tradition and chosen for the distinct pleasure it brings to food and the table.
- Joy · Sauvignon Blanc
- Gertie · Dry Gewürztraminer
- Frisky · Dry Riesling
- Frolic · Viognier
- Caress · Cuvée Blanc
- From Dry Creek, Russian River, Lake and Mendocino
Joy — Loire-Inspired Sauvignon Blanc
Joy
Loire-Inspired Sauvignon Blanc
J&J Ranch Vineyard · Dry Creek Valley
Joy is brisk and refreshing, with citrus, restrained herbal character and a clean mineral finish. Its Loire-inspired style favors precision over tropical excess.
Pour it with oysters, fresh chèvre, grilled fish, shellfish, green herbs or a salad that has just met its vinaigrette.
Gertie — Alsace-Inspired Dry Gewürztraminer
Gertie
Alsace-Inspired Dry Gewürztraminer
Hill Ranch · Russian River Valley
Gertie is fragrant without being frivolous, offering floral aromatics, lychee and ripe stone fruit across a supple, dry palate.
It is particularly good with pâté, aromatic spices, smoked food, pork and cheeses with enough personality to answer back.
Frisky — Clare Valley–Inspired Dry Riesling
Frisky
Clare Valley–Inspired Dry Riesling
Kelsey Bench Vineyard · Lake County
Frisky lives up to its name with lively citrus aromatics, bright acidity and a crisp mineral finish. It is dry, energetic and not inclined to sit quietly in the corner.
Serve it with spicy Asian dishes, seafood, fresh herbs, pork or anything carrying enough heat to require a cool, confident answer.
Frolic — Rhône-Inspired Viognier
Frolic
Rhône-Inspired Viognier
McDowell Valley Vineyards · Mendocino County
Frolic brings lush stone fruit, floral aromatics and a generous, supple texture. Viognier is not a shy grape, and there is little advantage in asking it to pretend.
Pour it with crab, scallops, roast poultry, fragrant spices or creamy dishes that welcome a wine with some presence.
Caress — Châteauneuf-du-Pape Blanc–Inspired Cuvée
Caress
Châteauneuf-du-Pape Blanc–Inspired Cuvée
McDowell Valley Vineyards · Mendocino County
Caress is a layered Rhône-style white blend with aromatic depth, ripe fruit and a rich yet refined mineral finish. Generous in texture, it remains composed at the table.
Serve it with crab dip, lobster, roast chicken, creamy sauces or a serious cheese board. This is a white wine built to remain at the table after the first course.
