Tickled Pink Rosé
Tickled Pink is a Bordeaux-style rosé, characterized as light and decadent with lovely roundness with intense aromas including strawberry, gooseberry, grapefruit and currants.
You may initially think of red wines when it comes to Bordeaux wines, but Bordeaux also produces delicious, fruity, dry rosé wines. For most wine drinkers, it just wouldn’t feel like summer without a little rosé.
Serving Temperature: 45°F- 50°F
As a Bordeaux style rosé Tickled Pink is produced from a combination of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot grapes and then vinified at a low temperature.
The primary flavors of Tickled Pink are red fruit, strawberry and currant combined with the acidic freshness of citrus and grapefruit. The aromas are intense, fresh and fruity. In short, perfect for refreshing your summer taste buds.
A versatile wine, it can go with a wide variety of starters: tapenade, shrimps or toast with fresh goat cheese . . . even a refreshing salad.
Continuing the meal with rosé is possible too, for example, grilled fish, grilled meats and sausages – all the barbecue food pairs perfectly with Bordeaux rosé.
With it's refreshing flavors, Tickled Pink can beautifully complement many desserts, cherry or plum pastries with cream or custard might be a nice match.
