Summer fun in the sun calls for a refreshing, easy to drink, only slightly-alcoholic pink lemonade.
Made from any Williamson Rosé and lemonade this simple to make slushie is a perfect way to stay cool when the weather heats up.
Take a can of your favorite lemonade and pour it into an ice cube tray and freeze the tray.
Make a simple syrup by placing a cup of water in a saucepan and bring it to boiling point, then stir in the sugar until it all dissolves. Lower the heat and allow the mixture to simmer for about 10 minutes then turn off the heat and allow to cool.
Cut two thin slices from the center of the lemon and then cut them in half to form four thin semi-circles of lemon slice. Then juice the lemon to obtain about two tablespoons of lemon juice.
Place the lemon juice, Rosé wine and simple syrup in a blender and puree, then add four lemonade ice cubes to the blended mixture and continue blending until slushy. Pour into long glasses and add a couple of the lemonade ice cubes to each glass and place a half slice of lemon on the glass rim.
Enjoy with fresh popcorn and truffle salt.
