French-American Omelette


An omelette with fines herbes is a famous standard French dish while adding cheese crosses the pond to make it American. No fear, with a few simple steps making a French-American omelette is easy.

Ingredients

  • bacon, chopped  ·  2 tablespoons 
  • tomato, chopped  ·  3 tablespoons 
  • baby spinach  ·  1/2 cup 
  • jack cheese  ·  3 tablespoons 
  • Herbies Salad Herbs  ·  1 tablespoon 

Instructions

  1. In a bowl scramble 3 eggs.
  2. Add crisped chopped bacon, chopped tomato, Herbies Salad Herbs and chopped baby spinach.
  3. Pour into a buttered non stick six-inch omelette pan and cook on one side on low.
  4. Flip over omelette then add cheese and cook in a 350 degree oven for 5 min.
  5. Pull out the pan and slide half of the omelette on a plate then flip over the other side tacoing it.
  6. Serve immediately.

Jenny's Tip: - You can fill it with anything you have on hand like sausage, peppers, onion, ham, whatever —it's a great way to use up leftovers.
