Wine Club Release ~ Summer 2025

Captivate
ChardonnayIf you enjoy Chardonnay with a little California sunshine in its soul but without losing elegance, we’d recommend Captivate. It shows beautiful notes of fresh apple and citrus, a whisper of oak, and finishes clean with just the right touch of acidity. It’s effortlessly graceful — a wine that pairs beautifully with seafood, poultry, or even on its own.”
Joy Sauvignon Blanc
This is a wonderfully crisp Sauvignon Blanc from one of Dry Creek Valley’s coolest sites. It’s got that zippy citrus and herbaceous lift you’d expect, with a clean, mineral finish. The French famously call their best Sauvignon Blanc a 'savage white,' and you’ll see why when you taste this — it’s vibrant, lively, and incredibly food-friendly. Perfect with goat cheese, sushi, or anything from fresh seafood to light chicken dishes.
Frisky Riesling
If you’re in the mood for something bright, expressive, and a little unexpected, try our Frisky Dry Riesling. It’s made in a style you’d find in Alsace or Australia’s Clare Valley — bone dry, with lovely ripe fruit and just enough acidity to keep it electric. You’ll get notes of fresh peaches, nectarines, and a little grassy lift on the nose. On the palate, think lemon, pineapple, and a touch of mineral. It’s fantastic with sushi, shrimp, or anything with bold Asian flavors.

Heritage
ShirazThis is a true winemaker’s Shiraz — made by Bill, who’s known for his no-compromise, heritage-driven style. It pours a gorgeous, deep color with aromas of candied apple, dark fruits, and a touch of earthiness. On the palate, it’s smooth, lush, and full without being too heavy. The finish is long and velvety. While it pairs beautifully with grilled meats and rich dishes, honestly, this is one you’ll want to savor on its own by a fire — it’s that good.
Elate Grange Cuvee
If you’re in the mood for something bold, smooth, and a little luxurious try Elate - a blend of Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon, crafted as a tribute to one of Australia’s most iconic wines beautifully blending the depth and structure of Bordeaux with the bold, expressive character of the Rhône, all with a distinctly Australian twist.
It pours a gorgeous deep purple in the glass, with aromas of ripe plum, a little wood smoke, and a hint of spice. The first sip is rich and layered — think smoky, dark fruit, roasted coffee, and supple oak, all wrapped in fine tannins and balanced acidity.
Comfortable, warm, and indulgent, Elate is opulent without being over the top. Drinking beautifully now but built to go the distance if you’d like to cellar it. Great with grilled meats or rich, savory dishes, but honestly, it’s a pleasure to sip on its own too.
Clarissa Vin Rouge
Elegant yet boldly expressive, Clarissa is a refined, beautifully balanced wine crafted by Bill specifically to complement dishes with those savory, Mediterranean flavors — things like garlic, olives, tomato, anchovy, and aromatic spices. It’s the kind of wine designed to elevate food but is stunning all on its own too.
On the nose, you’ll find deep, dark fruits — blackberry, cassis, and plum — layered with cedar, a hint of mint, and those classic savory notes like bay leaf and soft tobacco. Give it a little swirl in the glass, and it opens up even more.
On the palate, it’s medium-bodied but rich, with concentrated blackberry and boysenberry flavors, balanced by bright acidity and fine tannins. It has this beautiful way of coating the mouth, lingering long after each sip. There’s a freshness and vibrancy to it that keeps it lively all the way through the finish.
It’s a wine with a bit of audacity and flair — a worthy follow-up to its predecessors dating back to 2005, and it’s only getting better with a little air in the glass.

Intrigue
Mélange 2019
Intrigue is a Left Bank-style red wine blend, crafted from our California vineyards and originally inspired by the legendary Château Haut-Brion.
Intrigue means to arouse curiosity or interest by unusual, fascinating, or compelling means — much like the first “Claret” wines of Haut-Brion once intrigued the world, sparking a deep appreciation for fine Bordeaux and establishing the world’s first luxury wine brand.
Deep, dark red in color. The bouquet is truly beautiful, offering layered notes of blackberry, blackcurrant, dark chocolate, roasted coffee, and a subtle hint of ash — all unfolding gracefully in a single, captivating breath.
On the palate, the wine reveals smooth, well-structured tannins, striking a perfect balance between power and elegance. It’s full-bodied and luscious, carrying richness and depth from the first sip to a long, satisfying finish.
