A dry Riesling crafted in the classic traditions of Alsace and Australia's Clare Valley, showcasing vibrant citrus, crisp green apple, and delicate floral aromas.

Fermented to complete dryness, this wine emphasizes purity, bright natural acidity, and mineral-driven elegance.

Refreshing and precise, it delivers layers of lime zest, lemon blossom, and wet stone, culminating in a long, clean finish that reflects the timeless character of these renowned Riesling regions.

Frisky shows a rich straw color, halfway between lemon and apricot, indicating the fruit was harvested at exactly the correct level of ripeness.

The aroma hints at fresh-cut nectarines and peaches and flowers with a background of new mown grass.

In the mouth Frisky is medium-dry with juicy citrus flavors, almost a combination of lemon and pineapple, and shows the tingle of its brilliant acidity. There is that hint of mineral you need to find in a dry Riesling but also a rich texture.

A fuller style but still with fine structure and backbone Frisky is perfect for sushi, shrimp and fish dishes especially with Asian flavors.

Among my favorite white wines are dry Rieslings and two of my favorite places that make Rieslings are Strasbourg in France's Alsace region and Australia's Clare Valley, so when I was able to find a Riesling vineyard with a sunny, dry micro climate and shelter provided by Mount Konocti we decided to make Frisky as a dry Riesling.
