NY Strip Slider

It's just not a party without a platter of sliders so Chef Kyle whipped up an astounding recipe for steak sliders with Bill's steak rub, blue cheese crumbles, tarragon aioli and red onion marmalade that's a perfect finger-licking dish!

Ingredients

  • portion 2 each NY Striploin  ·  3 ounces 
  • Salt  ·  1 tablespoon 
  • Herbie's Bill's Steak Rub  ·  2 tablespoons 
  • Canola Oil  ·  1 tablespoon 
  • Brioche Slider Buns  ·  4 whole 
  • Blue Cheese Crumbles  ·  1/2 cup 
  • Tarragon Aioli  ·  1 & 1/2 cup 
  • Red Onion Marmalade  ·  2 & 1/2 cup 

Instructions

In a medium saute or cast-iron pan, heat 1 tablespoon canola oil on high heat.

Generously season NY striploins on all sides with 1 tablespoon salt and Bill’s Steak Rub.

Add steaks to pan and lower heat to medium high. Sear steaks in pan until steak caramelizes and crust forms, 8-10 minutes.

Carefully flip steaks and continue to cook for 3-5 minutes.

Remove from pan and allow to rest for 8-10 minutes.

Toast slider buns lightly and slice cooled steak length wise 1/4” thick.

To build, spoon red onion marmalade on bottom bun.
