GBHJ Quesadillas
The zesty Garlic Balsamic & Herb Jam and the chicken are a succulent delight when mixed with the melted cheeses.
- 1 pound shredded Monterey Jack Cheese
- 1 package 8 inch flour tortillas
- 1 Jar Williamson Wines Garlic Balsamic & Herb Jam
Spread jam on a tortilla. Generously top with cheese and add grilled chicken, then with another tortilla. Heat a heavy cast iron skillet to very hot. Brown tortilla on both sides and heat until warm inside. Cut into wedges and serve.
GBHJ Goat Cheese Crostini
GBHJ Goat Cheese Crostini is an amazing example of how a little garlicky, herby jam and goat cheese turns simple toast into something much more special.
- ½ Cup Garlic Balsamic & Herb Jam
- 1 Large baguette
- 8 oz goat cheese
Preheat oven to 400 ° F. SLice baguette into 1/4 inch slices. Toast bread slices in oven about 5 minutes or until lightly toasted. Remove from oven and spread with small amount of goat cheese. Top with Garlic Balsamic & Herb Jam.
GBHJ Cream Cheese Dip
This is a classic appetizer that is great for last minute unexpected guests. Simply pour 1/2 jar of Garlic Balsamic & Herb jam over an 8 oz brick of cream cheese and serve with crackers for a quick and satisfying dip.
GBHJ Goat Cheese Pizza
There are many options for premade packaged pizza crusts, many of which come in thin-crust and whole wheat varieties. This is a quick, easy way to make a tasty pizza at home.
- Boboli or other packaged pizza dough
- Olive oil
- 1/2 cup Garlic, Balsamic and Herb Jam
- 1 D'Anjou pear, sliced thin
- ½ cup pecans chopped
- Goat Cheese about 3 ounces, crumbled
Brush top surface of pizza dough with olive oil. Spread a layer of Balsamic, Onion & Herb Jam on top of oil. Add goat cheese, sliced pears and pecans. Bake in a 400 degrees F oven for 12-15 minutes.
GBHJ Brie or Goat Cheese Log
Carefully slice off top rind of brie or use a goat cheese log instead . Place the cheese in an oven safe dish. Pour 1/3 jar of Garlic Balsamic & Herb Jam over top of brie cheese. Place in 350° oven until brie begins to get warm and melt. Serve with crusty bread, crackers or apple & pear slices. If the brie is too daunting then try the goat cheese log! It’s always a crowd pleaser, looks impressive and is super easy to put together.
