Cheese Club - October 2024

Here are the four flavorful artisanal, handcrafted cheese selections that we have chosen to pair with the wines of October 2024.

Crottin Andante

This goat cheese has a bright creamy flavor with mild tangy citrus and herbaceous notes. When fresh it's rich with buttery, crème fraiche aromas. Left to become firmer it has a distinctive walnut aroma with a spicy kick.

Jenny's Tip: - Excellent on its own, or over fresh greens. Our tip: warm up your Crottin Antante goat cheese and trickle with honey!

Huntsman

Just like a layer cake, the rich creamy flavor of the outer Double Gloucester cheese hold the layers of a strong, richly veined Blue Stilton, resulting in a delicious and beautiful cheese and you will love this combination.

Jenny's Tip: - Place a slice of Huntsman on a burger for an outstanding cheeseburger.

Seascape

The browned-butter notes of the cow milk meet in perfect harmony with the tangy and fruity goat's milk to warm you up from the inside like grandma's baked goods.

Jenny's Tip: - Pair Seascape cheese with a bottle of Clarissa Vin Rouge and Rustic Bakery Bites crackers for a perfect evening for just the two of you!

Drunken Goat

Spanish goat cheese soaked in Mourvèdre red wine for three days. The cheese inherits the wine's fruity characteristics which together with the soft creaminess of the cheese produces a delightfully unique flavor.

Jenny's Tip: - Beautiful on a cheese plate, a definite crowd pleaser or for when you're alone, great for melting on toasted sandwiches.
