Instructions
For the Stuffing:
In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat.
Add the onion, celery and Herbie's Ground Rosemary and Herbie's Turkey Stuffing Herbs.
Reduce the temperature to medium low and cook until tender, about 5 to 8 min.
Cool slightly.
In a large bowl combine the bread cubes, cooked onion mixture, and parsley.
Pour 3⁄4 cup of broth overtop and toss the cubes.
Add the remaining broth, a little at a time until cubes are moist but not soggy and gently toss. You may not need all the broth.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Place the bread mixture in a baking dish, dot the top with the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter and bake for 25 min at 350 degrees.
Then remove the foil and cook for an additional 10 minutes for color. Remove from the oven and reserve.
For the Gravy:
Melt a 1/2 stick of butter in a sauce pot with 1 tablespoon of Herbie's Stuffing Herbs.
Whisk in the flour slowly, cook on medium heat until it gets nutty and golden brown.
Slowly add the broth while continuously stirring.
Cook on low until gravy thickens.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
For the Cranberry Sauce:
In a saucepan over medium heat add cranberries, red wine, and maple syrup.
Simmer until cranberries burst and the liquid reduces by half.
Blend using a blender or hand blender until smooth.
Set aside.
For the assembly:
Start by turning your oven to the broil setting.
While that heats up, arrange the brioche on a cookie sheet lined with foil and toast the 4 slices of brioche until golden brown.
Once toasted, remove and add 2 oz of sliced turkey on top of each brioche, then season the sliced turkey with Herbie's Tasty Meat Sprinkle.
Next, scoop your desired amount of stuffing on top of the turkey then spoon the gravy over the turkey and reserve the rest for garnish.
Add 2 oz of sliced brie on top of each sandwich and carefully place the cookie sheet back under the broiler to melt the brie, this should only take 20 seconds.
Remove the sandwiches and arrange them on a plater.
Lastly, garnish each open faced sandwich with cranberry sauce and enjoy!
