A quick and convenient recipe for a colorful South American chimichurri sauce which doubles as a marinade and an accompaniment to all cuts of beef.

Ingredients

  • Herbie's Chimichurri Mix  ·  1 tablespoon 
  • Water  ·  1 tablespoon 
  • olive oil  ·  3 tablespoons 
  • red wine vinegar  ·  2 tablespoons 

Instructions

A quick and convenient recipe for a colorful South American chimichurri sauce which doubles as a marinade and an accompaniment to all cuts of beef.

Combine the spice mix with the water and stir.

Add 1 tablespoon of olive oil and stir again to make a smooth paste.

Add the remaining oil and vinegar.

Stir well and place in a small jug.

Serve with char-grilled or seared steaks.

Makes enough to dress four steaks.
