Vanilla Bean Panna Cotta

Ingredients

  • Heavy Cream  ·  15.5 ounces 
  • Whole Milk  ·  3.5 ounces 
  • Sugar  ·  1/4 cup 
  • Gelatin  ·  4 sheets 
  • Yogurt  ·  1 1/2 cup 
  • Scraped Vanilla Bean  ·  1/2 

Instructions

Place 4 sheets of gelatin in a plastic container with ice water to bloom for 10 minutes then remove from water.

In medium sauce pot, heat milk, heavy cream, sugar and vanilla bean to a gentle simmer.

Add gelatin and whisk until dissolved.

Allow to cool off heat for 5-10 minutes.

Slowly whisk in yogurt and strain using a fine mesh strainer into 3 oz ramekins.

Place in refrigerator for minimum 4-6 hours until set.
