Satay Sauce

Ingredients

  • Herbies Satay Spice Blend  ·  3 tablespoons 
  • peanut oil   ·  1/2 tablespoon 
  • soft brown sugar  ·  1/2 tablespoon 
  • water  ·  1/2 cup 
  • peanut butter  ·  6 tablespoons 

Instructions

  1. Heat a saucepan and dry roast the spice powder for about 1 minute – do not overcook.
  2. Add oil, soft brown sugar and peanut butter, stirring constantly.
  3. Slowly add water, still stirring, until desired consistency is achieved.

Jenny's Tip: - Serve with skewers of chicken, lamb, pork, beef or seafood.
