Portuguese Chicken Wings

These chicken wings are perfect for parties or picnics. Ask your butcher to joint the chicken wings for you, without the tips, which will give you good sized pieces for finger food.

Ingredients

  • jointed free-range chicken wings  ·  5 pounds
  • Herbie’s Portuguese Seasoning  ·  2 tablespoons

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350F.

Rub the spice mix thoroughly over the chicken wings and place on a large baking tray or two smaller trays, ensuring the pieces aren’t overcrowded.

Bake for 1 – 1½ hours, turning occasionally until skin has completely rendered and wings are golden.

Serve with a yogurt or blue cheese or ranch salad dressing as a dipping sauce paired with Frolic Viognier.
