Chili-lime Garlic Prawns

Ingredients

  • Wild Caught Prawns, shelled and de-veined  ·  2 pounds 
  • Peeled and Chopped Garlic Clove  ·  1/4 cup 
  • Canola Oil  ·  2 tablespoons 
  • Mae Ploy Sweet Chili Sauce  ·  1 cup 
  • Pineapple, peeled and large diced  ·  1 
  • Bell Peppers, seeded and large diced  ·  2 
  • Vidalia Sweet Onion, large diced  ·  1/2 
  • Limes, juiced and zested  ·  2 
  • Toasted Sesame Seeds  ·  2 tablespoons 
  • Herbie's Aleppo Pepper Spice  ·  1 tablespoon 

Instructions

Season prawns generously with salt and Herbie’s Aleppo Pepper spice. In a large sauté pan, heat canola oil until lightly smoking. Add prawns and garlic and toss for 4-6 minutes. Add pineapple, bell peppers and vidalia sweet onion. Sauté until peppers, onion and prawns are cooked through, 8-10 minutes.

Remove from heat and add Mae Ploy sweet chili sauce, lime juice and lime zest. Top with toasted sesame seeds. Serve over white rice or slightly cool and fill lettuce wraps for tasty snack.
