GOLD MEDAL WINNER in the 2013 San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition our Rose was made to be a fully fermented Pinot Noir with a lesser skin exposure. This method captures all the flavor of a Pinot but retains the light, smart casual attitude of a modern Rose.
On the nose is the subtle aroma of green apple and cherry while in the mouth strawberry, cherry and hint of watermelon. For all that this is not a fruity wine. It is surprisingly lush and full in the mouth for a Rose and then there's that finish. The lush flavors remain in the sides of the palate while the center goes off into a long, long finish with a hint of mineral which shows like a light citrus zest.
Unbelievably it's great chilled but improves it's flavor notes as it warms up. A great Rosé!
