Tasting Notes
Nice blond straw color in the glass while showing that soft herbaceous Sauvignon Blanc nose. In the mouth crisp with hints of grass and lemon and expressing its trademark acidity that is looking to pair with soft and creamy foods. The flavor however, makes this wine great to enjoy all by itself.
Production Notes
Only 370 cases produced.
Winemaker Notes
The 2019 weather conditions were almost perfect with gradual heat building but never to excess. No rain through the growing season and a harvest day in the 80's made the whole crop uniformly ripe. This wine was made naturally, using native yeast and aged in neutral French oak barrels so it faithfully expresses the vineyard.
Cooperage Notes
Some new French oak with the majority being neutral Burgundy barrels.
