A Harmony of Syrah, Grenache & Mourvèdre — A seamless blend where Syrah brings depth and spice, Grenache offers vibrant red fruit and warmth, and Mourvèdre lends earthy complexity and structure. Together, they create a wine of balance, elegance, and lingering intrigue.
This Rhône-inspired blend opens with expressive aromas of ripe blackberry, dark cherry, and sun-warmed strawberry, interwoven with lavender, violet, and a hint of wild Mediterranean herbs—thyme, rosemary, sage, and lavender—adding a savory, aromatic layer that complements the wine’s fruit and spice.
On the palate, Syrah delivers rich black fruit, pepper, and spice; Grenache contributes plush red berry brightness and a silky mid-palate; while Mourvèdre adds earthy undertones, savory herbs, and fine, grounding tannins.
The texture is supple yet structured, carrying flavors of plum, raspberry compote, and cocoa through a long, graceful finish accented by a touch of smoked cedar and dried thyme.
The 2023 growing season in Dry Creek Valley was cool and measured, with delayed budbreak and a slow, extended ripening period. Harvest came later than usual, producing grapes with vibrant aromatics, balanced acidity, and concentrated flavors. The resulting wines are elegant, structured, and built for both immediate enjoyment and graceful aging.
