Entice Cuvee 2016

A delightful Bordeaux-style red wine, enticing good on its own but also pairs well with most meats and spicy food.

A grand wine comprising 20% fruit from the Napa mountain slopes of Atlas Peak and Pritchard Hill and 80% from the Sonoma valleys of Chalk Hill and Dry Creek bringing together a complexity of flavors worthy of savoring.

More about Entice Cuvee . . .

Lively up front on the nose this wine fills the mouth with a luscious, juice hinting at blackberry, currant and date flavors but it's that subtlety, the flavors are only hints and then they evolve right there in the mouth into a full bodied, food friendly wine in search of a big pepper steak. The wine is powerful yet delicate with a characteristic freshness and great fullness on the palate. Intense in flavor with a deep sensual structure that is never too heavy and always elegant.
This blend was originally created in 2003 to manage the heat generated by Cabernet style wines when paired with foods like pepper steak. The wine is designed to move the pepper heat from mid palate to the sides of the mouth allowing the actual food flavor to emerge in the mid-palate. The blend includes the five Noble Reds of Bordeaux namely, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot and Malbec.
Matured in French Oak for 22 months, approximately 40% new, 40% one use and the balance neutral. 2016 - 25 CS - 55 ME - 5 CF- 15 MA
