Entice Cuvee 2014
A delightful, well-bred Bordeaux style red wine with a paradoxically enticing manner of managing strong spices in food.
Lively up front on the nose this wine fills the mouth with a luscious, juicy liquid hinting at blackberry, currant and date flavors but it's that subtlety, the flavors are only hints and then they evolve right there in the mouth into a full bodied, food friendly wine in search of a big pepper steak.
The wine is powerful yet delicate with a characteristic freshness and great fullness on the palate. Intense in flavor with a deep sensual structure that is never too heavy and always elegant.
The early 2014 harvest yielded a high quality wine grape crop. We are all using words like quality, depth of flavor and excellent to describe the 2014 vintage. Life is good with perfect weather,” abundant crop and good fortune among the descriptions our fellow winemakers here are using.
French Oak for 22 months, approximately 40% new, 40% one use and the balance neutral.
