The resulting wine is both powerful and elegant, showcasing the vineyard’s distinctive character.
Aromas of ripe blackcurrant, blackberry, and dark cherry are complemented by subtle hints of graphite, cocoa, and baking spice. On the palate, firm yet refined tannins frame concentrated dark fruit, while the naturally cool nights preserve freshness and balance.
This Cabernet Sauvignon, planted with Clone 337, highlights the unique terroir of the Knights Valley Appellation. Volcanic soils, warm sun-filled days, and cooling evening breezes create the perfect environment for slow, even ripening, allowing the grapes to develop both power and finesse.
The resulting wine is both powerful and elegant, showcasing the vineyard’s distinctive character.
Matured in French Oak for 22 months, approximately 40% new, 40% one use and the balance neutral.
