The idea behind Amuse is simple: take our California-grown Bordeaux varieties and step outside the traditional rules of Bordeaux. By blending them in a way that’s distinctly our own, we’ve created a wine that feels uniquely American—bold, flavorful, and easy to enjoy.
Rich, bold, and food-friendly Amuse is crafted to be both delicious on its own and perfectly suited to the foods we love here at home: barbecue, grilled steaks, burgers, short ribs, or a hearty mushroom risotto, and everything in between.
Aromas of blackcurrant, blackberry and ripe plum mingle with hints of violet, cocoa and a touch of spice. On the palate, the Cabernet brings structure and classic cassis-driven depth, while the Malbec adds roundness, juicy black fruit and a smooth, velvety texture.
The finish is long and balanced, with fine tannins carrying notes of dark chocolate and subtle oak spice. Approachable now, yet with the backbone to evolve beautifully over the next several years.
