This wine is a seamless blend of the five Nobel Bordeaux varietals and with not one varietal dominating, they have become totally integrated to become a new, unique Allure Meritage!
An dark garnet color with a nice, illusive cedar bouquet displaying notes of deep, dark blackberry fruit.
In the mouth a lovely soft, juicy, complex fruit with an underlying soft tannin structure as a result of using open-top tanks and a punch-down process for winemaking.
This wine is delightful on the palate with its richness and concentration. Blessed with superb balance this is a wine for lovers of soft, complex foods.
Thanks to abundant rain in spring, vines were given a healthy start. The weather through the growing season was even with only moderate heat events, followed by cool and steady weather through harvest giving us the opportunity to make wines with natural acidity and elegance.
Matured in French Oak for 22 months, approximately 40% new, 40% one use and the balance neutral.
Only 500 cases produced.
