Adore Rosé 2016
Adore Rosé is a dry Grenache rose with plenty of power and balance that will pair well with the taste of summer wine of the style of the great Rosé producers in the south of France.
Delicate aromas, light-bodied yet still nice and round in the mouth Adore is best enjoyed chilled like a white wine. It has a beautiful acidity and fine Grenache-inspired spice flavors finishing with a wonderful dryness making it a great match for savory food.
The grapes are whole cluster pressed directly into a ferment tank, avoiding skin maceration and produced only 269 cases as a delicate pink wine. As the process progresses some skins are removed and the resultant wine is aged for about 11 months in neutral French oak Burgundy barrels.
Adore is made from our Grenache grapes, specially chosen to make a Rosé style wine. The color of a wine is extracted from the grape skins during fermentation. Like the top Rosé producers in the south of France, we prefer to ferment red grapes for Adore as we would a prized white wine. Here the grapes are whole cluster pressed directly into a ferment tank, avoiding skin maceration and produced as a delicate pink wine.
