Epicurean Kitchen History

When a restaurant at 235 Healdsburg Avenue adjacent to our 18 Matheson Street tasting room became available we took it over and called it Epicurean Kitchen.

As a winery focused on pairing our wines with food dishes we were naturally attracted by the well appointed restaurant kitchen.

Here was a place to accommodate our growing number of chefs engaged in recipe development, wine pairing, tasting room food preparation and catering for our numerous events.

Members of our wine club, cheese club and spice club eagerly await the new recipes and cheeses released each quarter by our Epicurean Kitchen team.

The restaurant component also gave us a wonderful venue for our Pickup Parties held throughout the year. Additionally our own chefs, supported by many club members, asked us to open Epicurean Kitchen as a restaurant for them to enjoy.

Captivated by the warm, welcoming atmosphere and comforting cuisine of European bistros we decided to open a similar bistro in Healdsburg.

We have created a place where locals and visitors alike can gather, relax and enjoy hearty, home-style food, good wine and friendly conversation every Friday at the Locals Lunch open to club members and the public, by appointment.

Here you can enjoy one of our Epicurean Kitchen Lunches featuring our chef's recipes each highlighting a combination of our Herbies spices with fresh Sonoma food products and each dish perfectly paired with our wines.

Lunch prices are fixed at $75 per person for members and guests. Member and partner receive their normal allowance. Locals and visitors to Healdsburg are always welcome. Reservations are required 707-433-1500
