Wine Categories
Fine wines originate in specific vineyards. For this reason they generally can only be produced in limited quantities. We separate our limited production, handcrafted wines into three categories, Legacy Wines, Icon Wines and Library Wines.
Legacy Wines
Legacy Wines are small batches of handcrafted wines from perfectly situated vineyards and therefore produced in quantities of less than 500 cases. They are available at the tasting room and are sent to our Wine Club Members in their normal shipments.

Icon Wines Icon Wines . . .
Icon Wines are smaller production, exquisite, collectible wines made from the best fruit available using the most painstaking wine making methodology, without any cost constraints. Produced in smaller quantities and at higher production costs, Icon wines are not automatically included in Wine Club shipments but Members may order them for inclusion with their wine club shipment.
Library Wines Library Wines . . .
Library Wines are a small quantity of our finest Legacy and Icon wines that we are allowing to age gracefully. Many of our wines have won gold medals and we know they would taste even better if allowed to age a few more years so we consign a few cases of each to long-term storage where they can age gracefully for several years before being offered exclusively to our VIP Wine Club Members (or consumed by our family).
Bill's Cellar Selection Bills Cellar . . .
Dawn and Bill collect unique wines on their travels. Bill's Cellar is a selection of these exquisite wines from small wineries that, like ours, are almost fully allocated to their own customers so, in general, are not available through regular wine distribution channels.
Our Romantic Wine Names Wine Names . . .
Our wines all carry two names. The larger type indicates the grape varietal, for example, MERLOT. The name printed in red script is our "romantic name", for example Amour. This section shows the meanings and the reasons why we chose these names.
