LEAD TASTING ASSOCIATE
We're seeking a passionate wine lover to join our Healdsburg team. We have a fine reputation as a premium Sonoma and Napa wine producer and you will be an extension of our family, important in our business, sharing our story and exciting wines with visitors.
Based in our Healdsburg facility you will be our ambassador, guiding each appointed guest group through our premium wines and their pairing with seasonal dishes created by our in-house culinary team, all to provide an experience that will exceed expectations.
We believe that every position influences the guest’s perception of our level of service, however this position is the most impactful with the most interaction throughout the guest experience.
Ideally you are already a wine server with sommelier level wine knowledge that can bring energy and a positive attitude to the enjoyment of great food and wine.
Our fifty different wines range in price from $50 to $500 per bottle and are truly representative of their quality. Not available through any stores or restaurants they carry a unique value to our thousands of customers and your job will be to present them and their food pairings.
The pay plan is so far above the average sommelier level that you can't even imagine it. Good people never leave us - drop by and talk with a few of them.
With that said, we have high standards and expectations for the level of service we provide. Your knowledge and commitment to our service standards will ensure the guests experience is memorable.
A successful candidate will have:
- A keen interest in wine, food and travel
- good verbal communications skills
- outgoing personality with a positive, friendly outlook with a willingness to learn
- the ability to interact socially with people of all ages and backgrounds
- the physical ability to lift and carry a case of wine weighing 50+ pounds.
Pay Rate Range
This full-time position attracts the following pay rate range:- Hourly Range: From $30.00 per hour to $40 per hour
- Annual 401K Plan Employer Contribution 3%+ of total earnings when qualified
- Employer Paid Kaiser Health Plan included for qualified employee.
