This heavenly, Honeydew Melon Shooter looks just as good as it tastes. The refreshing flavors of melon, served with slices of smoked salmon is truly a match made in heaven.
Add all four ingredients to blender and puree on medium-high setting.
Continue to blend until smooth.
Pass through fine mesh strainer and store in refrigerator until ready to serve.
For Poached Cantaloupe - add 2 cups water plus 2 cups white granulated sugar and bring the water and sugar to a rolling boil.
Once boiling, remove from heat and pour over diced cantaloupe in a heat resistant container.
Allow cantaloupe and liquid to cool at room temperature, roughly 30 minutes.
Pour the honeydew melon puree into a chilled glass and garnish with small 4” skewer of chilled poached cantaloupe and slices of smoked salmon.
Top skewer with Herbie’s Pink Peppercorn flakes.
