The combination of crispy puff pastry, melted cheese and savory ham hits all the right notes for comfort food and a perfect appetizer.

Sheet Puff Pastry, cut into 6 rectangles

Swiss Cheese, sliced thin

Herbie's Bagel Sprinkle

2 tablespoons
sprigs Thyme, leaves removed

Instructions
Pre-heat the oven to 450
In a small bowl with a fork, whisk together the egg, heavy cream, and mustard. Set aside.
Cut the puff pastry into 6 even rectangles (cut once long wise and then each in half into thirds).
Place the 6 rectangles onto a parchment paper lined baking sheet.
Place a piece of slightly rolled up ham and one rectangle of swiss cheese and roll them together. Place each roll up diagonally but in the center of each rectangle.
Brush the edges with cream, egg and mustard mixture.
Pinch two of the corners - Pressing slightly to seal the pastry over the filling leaving the two other corners exposed.
Brush the outside of the puff pastry with egg wash. Sprinkle thyme, black pepper and Herbie's Bagel Sprinkle over the top and place in the oven, preheated to 450°F, for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
