It is often said that youth is wasted on the young. Not so! This joyful, exuberant vintage is even now eminently drinkable.
It is a rapturous wine with a bright, forward bouquet of rose and cinnamon. It shines with a brilliant cherry red clarity.
This estate grown, dry-farmed, old vine Zinfandel is supple, luxurious and thoroughly engaging and has been so since the day it was bottled!
It is of medium weight with a lingering finish. Heavily spiced or overly acidic foods do not pare well with this elegant beauty. We actually enjoy this irresistible wine on its own, before and after dinner.
Made by winemaker David Cooper entirely with grapes from our estate old-vine, dry-farmed vineyard, this wine is 100% Zinfandel, an exquisite representation of our world renowned Dry Creek Valley appellation.
