The Cabernet comes from three completely different appellations where the different terroir characteristics really push the boundaries of complexity.
The Merlot brings softness while the small amount of Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot brings the whole blend together as a beautiful wine that will tantalize your senses.
The result was both lower yields and smaller berries across all varieties. The drought conditions also led to early harvest times throughout the region. Wines made from all varieties show greater flavor concentration, natural intensity and good ageing potential.
