A 3-liter large format bottle of Passion a supple, new world Pinot with a light color and an inviting “rose petal and soft cherry” nose.
Beautiful fruit approach with a darkness - blueberry character then the beautiful Pinot Noir - very satisfying perfect balance of acidity coats the mouth - a lovely luscious Pinot.
We achieved another harvest with succulent fruit qualities expressing nice red fruit and floral aromatics.
After the stress of 2017 including the fires, we hoped for a more relaxed harvest this year, and Mother Nature delivered. The 2018 vintage required patience in the growing cycle because the development and flavor maturation took extra time, then rain in early October was followed by dry spells and moderate heat, rewarding our patience and the courage it took to wait for exactly the right time to harvest.
Some new French oak with the majority being neutral Burgundy barrels.
