Passion Pinot Noir 2009

Decant for an hour before serving after which enticing Bing cherry flavors emerge, punctuated by spicy cola, making it a wonderful companion for soft earthy foods like duck, mushroom ravioli, salmon with truffle salt, etc.

Tasting Notes

This Russian River Burgundy style Pinot shows a dark garnet color leading to intense cherry fruit flavors with hints of delicate rose petals and is a wonderful companion for soft earthy foods like duck, mushroom ravioli, salmon with truffle salt, etc.

Rich, ripe fruit leads into a sensual, soft mouth feel and a pleasant, slightly tart finish.

Winemaker Notes

With a nice ruby red color, Passion 2009 offers gourmet aromas of black cherry and liquorice. On the palate, it ts round and slightly tannic with a lot of freshness on the finish, all of which will quickly soften over two to three years in the cellar.
