Joy Sauvignon Blanc 2012
Our 2012 Joy is 100% Sauvignon Blanc, the second vintage from our new vineyard in Dry Creek Valley.
The intense flavor of this delicious wine is captivating and you will instantly see why the French call their finest Sauvignon Blanc a "savage white!" This is no cool climate, grassy, herbaceous Sauvignon Blanc.
Crisp and elegant with grapefruit and citrus flavors on the nose rolling on to a beautiful ripe honeydew melon in the mouth. The slight mineral structure reminds one of limestone and hints at the wine's food pairing value as it lingers past the finish to leave you wanting more.
Perfect with soft goat cheese or brie but just as at home with Sushi, Chinese food or any chicken or fish dish. The flavor however,makes this wine a great drink all by itself.
