Europe Odyssey 2021
Europe Odyssey 2021 ~ Avignon to Lyon - September 12 to 20 - A journey of exquisite pleasures.
This exquisite culinary-focused journey through southern France with Dawn, Bill and Sam will inspire you as we visit places famous in the modern world of wine and food.
Visit Lyon, France's gastronomy center. Burgundy, ground-zero for Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Avignon, famous for the incomparable Châteauneuf-du-Pape wines and Hermitage, the birthplace of modern Shiraz/Syrah.
With only fifty staterooms on this ship our Williamson club members will have the entire vessel - Imagine a week-long Pickup Party !
We hope you, your families and friends are all in good health and doing well during these uncertain times. As the global health situation is still in flux, we wanted to provide you with an update on our September European Odyssey sailing.
While Uniworld River Cruises has not suspended this year's Rhône River Cruise and is therefore still planning to sail, Williamson Wines have decided to move your cruise to the same itinerary departing September 12, 2021. This cruise is identical to your 2020 cruise, so the same wine-themed program will be offered.
If you would like to join Bill, Dawn & Sam on this new sailing, we can roll over your cruise booking and deposit to the September 12, 2021 sailing and wine cruise program.
Uniworld will honor the same stateroom pricing as well, but only if you roll over your cruise by May 31st, which is Uniworld's extended final payment date for this year's 2020 cruise. We ask you submit your answer to us, no later than Monday, May 25th, giving us time to process your request.
To simplify our options, we have broken them down for you below:
- Option 1 - You can choose to roll over your deposit and program fees to the new September 12, 2021 Rhône River Sailing. For those of you who purchased our land tour package, we will roll over your Pre-Cruise Program fees as a Future Tour Credit with Food & Trails.
- Option 2 - You can choose to stay on the 2020 sailing, without Williamson Wines, and make your final payment on May 25th. The Food & Wine Trails Team will refund your wine program stipend.
- Option 3 - You can choose to cancel your booking. Normally there is a $400 per person cancellation penalty for your cruise, but since we are moving the wine cruise to 2021, we are waiving the Food & Wine Trails portion of $200. The Uniworld Boutique River Cruises penalty of $200 per person will still be charged (again, unless you move to the 2021 sailing, then they will waive it). If you signed up for the Pre-Cruise Program, normally there is a 25% penalty but we are also waiving this penalty as well.
We know this global situation has caused confusion and anxiety for many and hope these alternatives will help put you more at ease about your future travel plans with your Williamson Wines hosts. Please contact your travel advisor no later than May 25th - you can call Heidi at 800-367-5348 or email them at firstname.lastname@example.org.
