A delightful Bordeaux-style red wine, enticing good on its own but also pairs well with most meats and spicy food.
A grand wine comprising 70% fruit from the Napa mountain slopes of Atlas Peak and Pritchard Hill and 30% from the Sonoma valleys of Chalk Hill and Dry Creek bringing together a complexity of flavors worthy of savoring.
In tasting, the wine's complexity continues with forward flavors of dark cherry pie, medium bodied, spicy characters showing hints of plums and tobacco, fresh fruits and a peppery, earthy, black raspberry finish.
Extremely well balanced Entice can pair well with all the normal red meats as well as a wide variety of spicy foods.
Naturally the blend is complex and comprises, in order of quantity, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot and Malbec with 70% from our Atlas Peak Napa vineyards and 30% from our Sonoma Mountain, Chalk Hill and Dry Creek Valley vineyards.
The 2017 harvest wrapped up following summer heat spurts and a growing season that saw significant rain throughout the state ending a five-year drought. Temperatures cooled in mid-September, slowing the harvest pace and allowing red grapes to ripen gradually producing good quality for the 2017 vintage. While October wildfires in Napa and Sonoma made headlines, vineyards and wineries were not significantly affected.
