Because we love it so much, we’ve made a herby spice blend to make a delicious version at home. It’s a luscious combination of tomato powder, Aleppo pepper, onion, oregano, sumac, garlic, smoked paprika, basil, black pepper, fennel seed, porcini powder, cloves, spearmint and salt. Simply mix the Bruschetta Spice Mix with olive oil and balsamic vinegar, let stand for a few minutes, then combine with freshly chopped tomatoes.`

Easy Bruschetta Preparation

  • 2 tsp Herbie’s Bruschetta Seasoning
  • 2 tsp extra virgin olive oil
  • ½ tsp balsamic vinegar
  • 1 cup ripe tomato diced into small cubes
  • 2 slices sourdough or ciabatta, toasted
  • torn mozzarella and fresh basil – optional
  • Mix Bruschetta Seasoning with olive oil and balsamic vinegar and set aside for 10 minutes.
  • Toast bread.
  • Stir seasoning mix in with tomato until all pieces are well coated.
  • Top toasted bread generously with tomato bruschetta mix and cheese and basil, if using.
