Herbie has made this unique spice blend from 100% Australian native herbs and spices seasoned with South Australian Sea Salt.

The aroma and flavor conjures up memories of a wooded area in the Australian bush and compliments a wide range of foods.

 


Recipes

Delicious on seafood including tuna, swordfish or salmon steaks. Sprinkle it on any type of seafood before grilling, barbecuing or pan-frying.


Aussie Trout Fillet Salad.

4 trout fillets
1 tablspoon Herbie’s Spices Aussie fish seasoning
olive oil
1 bunch asparagus, trimmed
1 tablespoon green olives, chopped
handful of mixed leaves
white wine vinegar and lemon juice, to serve
1 tablespoon flaked almonds, to serve

Coat the trout fillets in Aussie fish seasoning.
Cook in a hot pan or grill for 3 minutes each side and set aside.
Meanwhile, boil asparagus until just tender, drain and rinse with cold water.
Mix asparagus, olives and mixed leaves in a large bowl and dress with white wine vinegar and lemon juice.
Flake the trout fillets gently into the salad.
Serve with a sprinkle of flaked almonds.
