Amourette Chardonnay 2012

To the eye, a beautiful bright golden straw color.

The delightful, delicate floral nose leads into a palate that shows notes of intense ripe fruit with its power held in check by bright acidity and balancing complex mineral structure.

In the mouth, soft and round initially, the wine has a slowly-changing feel that adds real intrigue on the palate, hinting at the little love affair about to begin. In a moment it reveals delicious notes of white fruits and hazelnut with discreet acidity on the palate.

Mouth-filling with pleasant vibrant juicy flavors of apricot and bright citrus. A smooth, impressively long lime zest finish but still perfectly balanced.  

An intriguing, delicious and very approachable wine showing a lovely sense of refinement, perfectly poised and balanced.
