Staff Accountant - Part Time

Our accounting group is seeking an experienced professional part-time staff accountant who is organized, tech-savvy and detail oriented preferably with strong emphasis on the wine industry and winery practices. This is a dual role, namely:

HR & Payroll

HR duties for a staff of under fifty full-time employees, including onboarding new staff, ensuring they complete their required video training and bi-weekly payroll processing.

Experience with QuickBooks Time time recording and QuickBooks Payroll software applications would be an advantage.


HR Payroll

Winery Compliance

Manage all day-to-day aspects of wine compliance, including filing for permits and licenses with TTB and California ABC departments, maintaining out-of-state licenses, renewals, excise, shipping and sales tax reporting and label registrations.

Work with vendors on procurement and just-it-time delivery of barrels, bottles, capsules corks, etc.

Pay Rate Range

This full-time position attracts the following pay rate range:
  • Hourly Range: From $30 per hour to $40 per hour
  • Annual 401K Plan Employer Contribution 3%+ of total earnings for qualified employee.
  • Employer Paid Kaiser Health Plan included for qualified employee.
