Beneficiis is a special project of Sam Williamson helping communities in East Africa by supporting at-risk children through the provision of wells delivering clean drinking water.
As the son of Australian born parents & mentors, Dawn & Bill Williamson, I’ve been raised in the vineyard to respect the land, people and fruits of the earth. Enjoyment of life and the great company of family and friends sharing a meal is what handcrafted, fine wine is about. To serve the local and worldwide community, a portion of the sale of every bottle will positively affect the lives of disadvantaged children. Enjoy -
*Beneficiis * Shiraz is a very intense ruby red color with purple hues. The nose offers concentrated aromas of blackcurrant, plum and subtle clove spices. Powerful and full bodied with juicy blackcurrant and plum flavors.
With three separate Shiraz (Sirah) vineyards we decided to make a pure Shiraz, blending fruit from all three vineyards. The hillside vineyards contribute power, the valley vineyards contribute smooth subtle flavors while the more gentle graded vineyards provide complexity. Our blending goal was to produce an elegant, harmonious and balanced Barossa style Shiraz.
Balsamic Garlic Pork Tenderloin that just melts in your mouth! This slow cooker balsamic pork tenderloin recipe is perfect for those busy weeknights or even special occasions when you just don't have time to cook for hours!
The scones are baking away in the oven and the whole place is filled with most glorious aroma. Glasses clink, friends are met and settle in for a chat about what's happening in their lives. The world outside goes on, but nobody cares because we're taking time with friends, scones and wine.
There are few dishes as versatile as the hamburger and here we are attempting to raise it to gourmet food status. The secret to gourmet cooking is using the best of fresh ingredients as close to harvest as possible and any additives should be as high a quality as possible.
One of the advantages of cooking our recipes is that you will experience dishes and flavors you may never have otherwise tried. Perhaps something that would challenge your palate, something with bold new flavors never tried before. This chicken, apricots and olives qualifies as a delicious change of taste.
This simple, slow-cooked dish receives a complex flavor from our Shiraz. It is always best to use the same wine for cooking and drinking. We know this is tough when the wine tastes so good alone. When the recipe calls for a whole bottle of wine some people might be tempted to use a cheaper bottle of Syrah and keep the Williamson Shiraz for drinking. This will compromise the integrity of the dish so perhaps the cook should drink a glass of the wine while cooking to ensure the quality of the wine being used.
A warm and hearty take on chicken soup for the gluten-free vegetarian, lifted with the addition of Herbie's Cajun Spice Mix and mellowed when you enjoy it with *Joy* Sauvignon Blanc *(also vegetarian)*
