Cancellation Policy

Reservations are required for many events such as wine tastings, parties and dinners, helicopter tours and trips where we have to make advanced preparation for the event.

At the time you make your reservations we may bill your credit card for either a part or the full event price plus applicable taxes and charges. Your reservations will be confirmed via email and you may cancel a reservation at any time subject to the conditions below.

If you need to cancel your tasting reservation, we kindly ask that you contact us no later than seven days before the scheduled tasting event to receive a full credit. For cancellations within seven days, payments are non-refundable.

The number of attendees permitted at a dinner event is limited and we are often booked out months in advance so a late cancellation means we cannot find substitutes. If you need to cancel your dinner reservation, we kindly ask that you contact us no later than one week (7 days) before the event to receive a full credit. Unfortunately cancellations within 7 days cannot be credited.

Eighteen, Home Ranch and Mayacama events are generally covered by an individual event agreement and once booked you are liable for the entire amount. You may cancel and receive a refund, subject to the following:

  • If more than 90 days before the event date ~ 100% refund
  • If between 90 days and 15 days ~ 50% refund
  • If less than 15 days ~ no refund

  • Because of the limited numbers of travelers and long-term advanced bookings we are required to make, all Odyssey payments are collected in advance and fees collected up to the time of your cancellation are non-refundable, however you will not be billed for payments that were to become due following your cancellation date.

    We will attempt to find other travelers to replace you on the trip and if successful, part of your payment may be refunded, subject to a $2,000 re-booking fee.


    With regard to cancellations of tastings, event or trips we retain the right to decide what should be done in any particular situation. In the case of helicopter tours refunds are subject to a $50 flight plan cancellation fee. We may cancel an event at any time without liability, in which case a 100% refund will apply.
