When I checked my email today I found a wonderful Christmas email.

Hi Bill- Not sure if you will remember but I was in your tasting room in Healdsburg over the summer with a couple from South Africa and you talked me into purchasing a 2005 Sovereign Cab ($495.00), along with a case or two of some of your other wines.

You told me the Sovereign would be one of the best wines I have ever tried and if I didn't like it you would refund my purchase. We opened it last night and it was spectacular! I agree 100% that this is an exceptional wine!

Thank you Jonathan, I am glad that the Sovereign lived up to your expectations. $495 might seem to be a lot to pay for a bottle of wine but not when it is so perfect and then you realize that you are one of only a handful of people on the planet that will ever taste that nectar. I think I may have another bottle around here somewhere to replace the one you appear to have damaged.
