Sitting and Drinking Could be OK

There exist overwhelming data showing that the human body needs physical activity, but for some of us, getting that activity isn't easy.

Now a new research study at the University of Strasbourg in France has confirmed that an ingredient in red wine, called Resveratrol, has a high potential for countering bone density loss and insulin resistance that people can experience simply from not moving around enough.

Resveratrol is found in the skin of red grapes which produce it naturally and in the wine made from those grapes. It provides the grape a natural resistance to disease by protecting it from attacking organisms.

Several studies have predicted that large doses of Resveratrol may protect the human body by providing anticancer, anti-inflammatory, blood sugar-lowering and other beneficial cardiovascular effects and now perhaps it can help avoid some of the side effects to a sedentary lifestyle
